In a region shared by humans, orcs, dwarves, and elves, each race protects its own culture and keeps outsiders at arm’s length. Half-breeds born from rare crossings face discrimination from every side. Humans tolerate them only as second-class citizens, confining them to the slums. The story follows a half-orc, half-human who is tired of being denied any chance to prosper and unsure where he belongs.
